Outreach and Fundraising
Giving back and having a positive impact on the community is very important to the King Edward VII family. The School, through our Outreach Programme which involves our boys, is involved in numerous outreach initiatives, such as:
- South African National Blood Service (SANBS) blood drives
- Donating Easter Eggs and other items like clothes and blankets to children's homes and hospitals
- CANSA Shavathons
- Collecting and donating grocery items for community members in need
- Supporting animal shelters
We also have KEPS Cares, an initiative to support our own families in need.
Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)
Our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) plays a vital role in fostering a strong sense of community among parents, teachers, and students. Dedicated to enriching school life, the PTA organizes events, fundraising initiatives, and collaborative projects that enhance the educational experience of our pupils.
By working closely with the school, the PTA supports key initiatives, provides valuable resources, and creates opportunities for parents to be actively involved in their child’s education. Whether through social gatherings, charity drives, or volunteering efforts, the PTA strengthens the partnership between home and school, ensuring a nurturing and dynamic learning environment for all, while fostering the spirit of giving back.
