Our Grade 7 learners proudly participated in the prestigious Horizon Mathematics Competition, an event that celebrates mathematical excellence among primary school learners across Gauteng. The Awards Ceremony, held on Saturday, 23 August 2025 at Nizamiye School in Midrand, brought together principals, educators, students, and parents for an inspiring celebration of achievement. Aimed at uplifting mathematics education in primary schools, the competition continues to grow each year, attracting a remarkable number of participants from Grades 5, 6, and 7.
The ceremony honoured the Top 100 learners in the province, with each receiving a certificate and goody bag in recognition of their dedication and hard work.
Muhammad Zia Abba’s results were outstanding; he was awarded position 1 and won the latest iPad. We are exceptionally proud to share that 6 of our boys placed in the top 100. Adding to the celebration, Mrs Hajee was honoured as the Top Teacher for her guidance as a mathematics educator.
The event was an inspiring celebration of achievement and a reflection of our school’s continued commitment to academic excellence in mathematics.
